Just Men’s Rings Announces another “Win a Ring” Contest!

If you’ve spent any time browsing the pages of JustMensRings.com, you know their selection of men’s fashion rings is second to none.   You will find wedding rings, tribal rings, biker rings and dozens of trendsetting rings made of sterling silver, gold, titanium, palladium, tungsten and stainless steel.  But if you’re like most JMR shoppers, you’ve had your eye on a specific ring, like the classy Tung12.  Thanks to our partnership with the Jenna Jackson from the Jackson Five Family Blog, now you can win this impressive men’s ring by simply entering a contest on their site.

One of JMR’s best selling rings is the Tung12, a spectacular 8mm tungsten ring with a carbon fiber insert that was created by customer request.  Tungsten is so popular among men because it is a substantial metal that is extremely durable, yet comfortable to wear.  Two-tone rings like this one are the latest style in men’s rings, and the beauty of the Tung12 is that it can be worn as either a fashion ring or an alternative wedding band.  Men appreciate this ring for its smooth, comfortable fit and modern design; plus, it has a much sturdier feel than traditional bands.  Like all of JMR’s tungsten rings, this ring is cobalt-free and available in sizes 8 to 17.

You can win this spectacular tungsten ring, valued at $169.95!

The Jackson Five Family blog is known for reviewing some of the most innovative fashions and accessories.  Jenna Jackson tests out every product she reviews and gives readers her honest opinion.  She and her husband were so thrilled with the Tung12 that her husband is now wearing it as an alternative wedding band.  We were honored to learn of the Jacksons’ desire to test out one of our rings, and present the Tung12 as their latest giveaway.

Okay, so now you’re wondering, “How do I win this ring?”  Well, it’s actually quite simple.  Just go to the Jackson Five Family Blog and become a public follower of their blog and then leave a message about your favorite ring.  Earn additional entries by signing up for email alerts from the JustMensRings blog, following Jenna’s blog on Twitter and Facebook, blogging about the giveaway and much more!  Simply follow the instructions about the giveaway below Jenna’s review on the Jackson Five Family Blog and you will be on your way to winning this ring!

Men's Tribal Rings

Men from all walks of life are getting into the "tribal look", and nowhere is this more noticeable than in current collections of men's fashion rings.  Tribal rings are a fusion of symbolism and urban culture that give men a sense of belonging; not to a "tribe" per se, but to a more spiritual interpretation of masculinity.  Gone are the days when men were afraid to express their sense of mystery through jewelry.  The rising popularity of tribal rings is evidence of a move back to nature and a greater appreciation for native cultures.  Using ethnically-inspired symbols, geometric patterns, and organic textural elements in men's jewelry is a growing trend that recalls the hieroglyphics of ancient Egypt, while maintaining a purely urban "edge".

Why Has Men's Fashion Gone "Tribal"?

When it comes to "urban tribal" fashions, some might say that it started among New York’s fashion elite, when designers Diane Von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs sent models down Fashion Week runways wearing chunky tribal jewelry and wild animal prints in unexpected colors.  While far less risqué in their appearance, men's tribal rings fit right in with this style. But like any other men's jewelry, they tend to be a more conservative in design.

What Tribal Symbols are used on Tribal Rings?

The symbols seen on men's tribal rings represent a mix of designs as unique as their wearers. Look for Celtic rings, Asian-inspired calligraphy, "Survivor-style" primitive markings, Native American patterns, animal prints, serpents, flames and waves, to name a few.  Some rings are reminiscent of ancient cultures and cave drawings, while others maintain an edgy, geometric look; but somehow all of them embody that inexplicable human bond that ties us all together through the language of symbols.  Perhaps this new appreciation for tribal design is fashion's answer to our data-driven, computerized society.

What are some of the popular Tribal Rings?

Among contemporary tribal rings, here are a few that have gained a foothold with men.  An urban favorite is a 316L stainless steel serpent ring, featuring a serpent design in black enamel.  Another edgy looking style is a sterling silver or stainless steel spinner ring with a black tribal sign on the outer spinning band.  For a modern interpretation of "tribal", consider a stainless steel ring with a lasered "flame" design all the way around.  Black stainless steel is becoming a popular metal for tribal rings too, with one version featuring a white stainless steel wave pattern running through the middle of a black band.  There are countless other designs for tribal rings, including Celtic knots, Chinese characters, Claddagh rings, and Native American spiritual rings with symbols inspired by fire, air, water, animals and plants.

Rather than owning just one ring, many men are starting their own collections of tribal rings.  This is because sterling silver and stainless steel tribal rings are relatively inexpensive and readily available.  However, true Native American tribal rings can be pricey because these handcrafted pieces often include turquoise and natural gemstones.

Expect to see more designers adding men's tribal rings to their collections over the coming months as they try to stay ahead of this growing trend.

Men's Biker Rings

Guys, before you kick your motor into gear and head out on the highway wearing black leather riding gear, you might want to add a new accessory to complete the look.  A biker's jewelry is as indispensable as his favorite leather jacket, and adds some much-needed charm to an otherwise rugged appearance.

Biker rings are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and designs to match the unique lifestyle of bikers.  Whether you're a hardcore, Harley-owning member of the Hell's Angels or a member of a laid-back weekend riding club, biker rings and biker jewelry allow you to make a bold statement about yourself wherever you go.

Avid motorcyclists are a very distinct group of individuals who will spare no expense in customizing their bikes to match their personal preferences, but most bikers don't stop there.  In fact, they get just as much satisfaction from adorning themselves in leather, chains, tattoos and biker jewelry.  Biker rings are an important part of this attire.  Just like owning the "right" leather jacket, wearing the right biker ring expresses a mental attitude of strength, solidarity, fraternity and power.

Biker rings are usually oversized or chunky rings made from sterling silver or stainless steel.  While some men may want a custom ring with the name of their riding club or biking clan, most will look for rings with edgy insignia such as iron crosses, winged skulls and scorpions.  The more dangerous and "bad" the rings appear, the more popular they are among bikers.  While some biker jewelry is used as a weapon of assault, or at least a method of self-defense, biker rings tend to be more of a cultural symbol than a means of combat.

There are biker rings to match every budget, but the most popular ones are made of sturdy stainless steel.  Not only will stainless steel be tough enough to withstand a biker's road warrior lifestyle, it is also much more affordable than other metals.  Sterling silver is another metal that works well for many styles of biker rings.

So which designs are "all the rage" among bikers?  Stainless steel spinner rings decorated with iron crosses, spinner rings with rugged chains, black stainless steel rings with contrasting silver skulls, and stainless steel "bike chain" rings are some of the hottest sellers. Winged enamel skulls and silver scorpion rings are also popular.  When it comes to men's biker rings, the more foreboding and dangerous it looks, the better it sells.

Silver Rings for Men

Throughout the ages, sterling silver jewelry has been favored by both men and women,   but never before has there been such a wide selection of silver rings for men.  More than just a way to reflect one's personal style, silver has been worn as a status symbol, a sign of national heritage and as a display of romantic commitment.  Nowadays, silver rings for men are an affordable way to make a fashion statement too.

Sterling Silver Woven Pattern Spinner Ring

Why choose sterling silver?

Men are wearing rings like never before, and sterling silver is an excellent choice.  Sterling silver rings for men are ideal because they allow men to own several different ring styles without breaking the bank.  As a metal, sterling silver is more durable too.  That’s because it is actually an alloy made up of 92.5 percent pure silver, making it more robust than softer metals like gold.  Not only will it resist wear and tear, it is also much easier to care for and it will not tarnish.  Thanks to the number of styles now available, their durability and low cost, silver rings for men have really grown in popularity.

Silver rings for men offer something for everyone

  • Looking for the perfect ring for a man with large hands?  Why not get him a men’s shank ring with a stunning gemstone, like onyx or topaz?
  • Are you shopping for the perfect men’s wedding band?  Then consider a Benchmark designer ring made of engraved and polished finish silver.
  • If your man needs something to relieve stress, then a spinning ring might be the perfect remedy.  Consider an elegant three-rope spinner ring featuring an intricate pattern that spins around the main band.
  • Silver rings for men are also worn to identify the wearer with their occupation, religion or national heritage.
  • Members of the U.S. Military are often seen wearing sterling silver rings with the words "ARMY" or "NAVY" displayed in cut-out lettering.
  • Christian rings, Judaica rings, Claddagh rings, and Yin-Yang rings are some other hot selling silver rings for men.
Whether your man is celebrating a special birthday, graduation, or accomplishment, there is a special ring for him that will perfectly mark that occasion.  Silver rings for men can be found in Celtic and Nordic styles, as thumb rings, spinning rings, and a growing assortment of braided, brushed and beveled designs.  With so many attractive rings available, it may be hard to buy just one!
