Selection of Unique Men's Wedding Bands makes it Hard to Pick Just One!

As someone who has been out of the wedding ring market for several years, I was shocked to see how many unique men's wedding bands are now available. Instead of starting my search in a local jewelry store, where I know I would get talked into a pricey traditional band; for my second marriage I decided to get something a little more original. Believe me when I tell you; if you want to find a ring that truly expresses your individuality, shopping online is your best bet. Not only will you find a much larger selection of metals - including all those cool industrial metals like tungsten, stainless steel and titanium - you will also be pleasantly surprised at all the unusual styles that are offered.

Being a tad less conservative today than I was in my twenties, I decided to choose from the endless selection of unique men's wedding bands I found online. The only problem was deciding on which one to buy.

Beyond traditional wedding rings, there is a whole new world out there. Some of my personal favorites include rings with a gold or black carbon fiber inset, black tungsten or black stainless steel rings with a brushed silver center, intricately woven rings, brushed tungsten rings with cubic zirconium; and the list goes on and on. But one of the more original and unique men's wedding bands I found is a black stainless steel ring with a silver-toned groove and an amber-colored CZ. I also appreciated the selection of spinner rings. These interactive rings consist of two layers, one that is stationary on your finger and the other that can be spun around; a great invention for people who have a habit of playing with their rings.

Those who are looking to express themselves through their selection of wedding rings will appreciate the wide range of Celtic rings, geometric rings, and engraved "Forever Love" rings; plus some very unique men's wedding bands like the "snake" ring, which features a shiny laser cut snake design against a matte finished stainless steel ring.

When considering a style that is woven, intricately patterned, or inlaid with gemstones, be aware that it could become damaged if you lead an active lifestyle. Many of these contemporary rings are curved on the inside for a "comfort fit", but it is important to find a ring that you can live with - day and day out - for many years to come.

With so many unique men's rings now available, my only dilemma is narrowing it down to one ring!

How to Find Men's Large Size Rings

Men with large hands often have a difficult time finding a ring that fits. That's because most retailers do not carry rings in a wide selection of men's large size rings. Typically, the largest ring in most popular designer collections is a size 12 or 13. But what if you wear a size 14, 15, 16 or 17?

It's no wonder men with large hands never get around to buying a ring. In fact, most guys don't think a lot about jewelry of any kind until it's time to pick out a wedding ring. That's when they find out that rings in sizes larger than 12 can be difficult to find. This is because ordering a specially sized ring from a regular jeweler can result in a delay of up to eight weeks, but not if you are ordering from a specialty online jeweler.

One of the best ways to find a wide selection of men's large size rings is to look online. Some specialty online jewelers will offer rings for men in those hard-to-find 13 to 17 ring sizes, and will carry a full range of ring styles that are designed to complement large hands.

Keep in mind that all men's rings are not created equal. What looks great on a man with small to medium-sized hands may not be suitable for a man with large hands and dense fingers. Some of the best looking styles for big hands are made with heftier band widths and sturdier metals.

The most attractive men's large size rings are made with industrial metals like tungsten, titanium and stainless steel. Not only do they look great, but for men who do work with their hands these tough and durable metals are an excellent choice.

Another factor that often differentiates men's large size rings is their design. In addition to looking better in a substantially wider style, large rings can also be created in chunkier shapes. For example, the striking profile of a signet ring looks terrific in larger sizes. Another great choice is a two-toned black and silver titanium ring or an oval ring with an oversized gemstone. When it comes to men's large size rings, the possibilities are limitless.

For men who have stayed away from buying rings because of size availability, the full range of options is now available online and can be delivered to your home in just a few days. Searching online for men's large size rings is as simple as entering the phrase on Google.

Emerging Trends in Men's Wedding Band Rings

When it comes to men's wedding band rings, there are no hard and fast rules; but one trend that seems to be catching on is the use of industrial metals like tungsten, titanium and stainless steel. These strong and durable metals offer a refreshing change from the traditional gold, white gold and platinum wedding bands your father may have worn, and they can be a lot less expensive. They are also hypoallergenic, virtually maintenance-free; and for men who work with their hands, these harder metals will stay new-looking for much longer.

Another growing trend is the "unisex" wedding ring. Rather than choosing two different wedding rings for the bride and groom, some women are opting to get the same ring as their man - in a much smaller size, of course. Since men's rings are a lot wider than women's wedding bands, the woman will usually switch her engagement ring to her right hand. This new way of looking at men's wedding rings is sure to be the inspiration for many new designer collections.

Designer and patterned wedding bands are also becoming quite the "rage" these days as well, with men feeling a bit more daring with their choice of wedding rings. In response to this, manufacturers are making rings that are domed, grooved, woven, brushed, ridged, engraved, Celtic, two-tone, and bezeled. And for something completely different, there are even men's wedding rings made of black tungsten and black titanium, or inlaid with carbon fiber. Gone are the days of the discreet metal band with "zero personality". If you're looking for ideas, just start searching online and you will find plenty of styles to choose from.

Depending on the type of men's wedding band ring you choose, a comfort-fit design is another option to consider. Comfort fit rings are internally round and curved around the edges, making them easier to put on and take off. This feature is especially helpful for men who are not used to wearing rings.

If this is your first time shopping for wedding rings, you may be surprised at the number of choices offered. What used to be a simple choice - gold, white gold or platinum - is now a more complicated decision. But when you think about how you will be wearing this ring everyday for the rest of your life, then it makes sense to choose wisely.
